If it hadn’t been for some parental matchmaking, the Dove and the Wolf, a k a Paloma Gil and Louise Hayat-Camard, might never have met. Gil grew up in Paris; Hayat-Camard in Martinique. But Gil’s mother introduced them when they were 14 and, Gil says, “We started playing music together.” Now 22, the duo, whose band name is a multilingual play on words — “paloma” is Spanish for “dove” and “loup” (which sounds like Lou, Hayat-Camard’s nickname) is French for “wolf” — just released their first EP, a four-song collection of spare but soaring harmonies. They came to T’s attention via Gaby Basora, the fashion designer for Tucker, who hired Hayat-Camard to babysit her sons while in Paris for business. Cut to a recent day in the Rockaways, a surf spot in Queens where the musicians were making a video for Tucker’s resort collection, set to their song “Springtime.” “It’s one of the first songs we wrote together,” Hayat-Camard says. “It’s about growing up and leaving the place you’ve always lived in.”

The model and her fiance Wiz Khalifa are thought to be expecting their first child in January 2013 and Amber wants to move up their wedding date to October to avoid getting married when she is heavily pregnant, according to MediaTakeOut.com.
Rapper Wiz proposed to Kanye West's former girlfriend earlier this year and although the pregnancy was a surprise, the pair are said to be thrilled about the baby and are already making a number of lifestyle changes to prepare.
A source told RadarOnline: "Amber and Wiz unexpectedly got pregnant, but they're really happy to be starting a family together.
"Amber's already had to make some big lifestyle changes, like not smoking cigarettes anymore. As a model she's used to having a thin waist, so this is going to be an adjustment for her."
Speaking about the proposal previously, Wiz revealed he showed Amber the "real" him when he popped the question.
He said: "[It was] real simple. It was in the morning time. I just rolled out of bed and got the ring out of the laundry room. Didn't brush my teeth. I was sober, I gave her the real me.
"I didn't cry. But she was crying so much she didn't know what to do. I was like, 'Say something, yo! I didn't let her take time to think about. Knew she was going to say yes."

A source said: "Max is serious about behaving himself - in real life and on his phone.
"He's been telling friends he wants to persuade Michelle to take him back and is dedicated to not having relations with any other women.
"It's not going to be easy while the band are on tour. They are constantly surrounded by women they're meeting for the first time but Max is committed to the challenge."
The 'Chasing The Sun' hitmaker split from Michelle in July after he was pictured kissing another girl in a club.
