[Indie Electronica] Ultraista Bad Insect

Earlier this year, famed Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich teamed up with Atoms for Peace drummer Joey Waronker and London musician Laura Bettinson to form a supergroup of sorts: Ultraista. Since then they’ve released three tracks, the latest one titled “Bad Insect,” just a few days ago. It’s an electronic whirlwind of a song, full of cascading synths and crackles of distorted noise, atop a smooth, grooving beat. Bettinson’s chilled vocals nicely complement the song’s hypnotic vibe.
Ulraista’s self-titled debut album comes out October 2nd on Temporary Residence.
